Why are calls not appearing on my Apple Watch?

The Watch companion is intended to display received signals. Keep the paired iPhone and Watch connected, open the companion app, and test a call before practice. If the screen remains on its ready or raise-wrist message, send us your iPhone model, iOS version, Watch model, and watchOS version. Use a tested audio setup or your backup signals while the issue is being resolved.

What do I need to get started?

Install PitchCall Pro on a compatible iPhone or iPad and pair a Bluetooth listening device with it. Build a few calls, then test the complete setup at practice. An Apple Watch is optional.

Follow the first-practice guide ↗
How does the player hear the call?

The app speaks your selected call through the audio output connected to your device. Pair the receiving earbud or speaker through your device’s Bluetooth settings, select that output, and check the volume before taking the field.

Do I need a second phone or an Apple Watch?

The basic workflow uses your iPhone or iPad and a paired Bluetooth audio device. The optional Apple Watch companion displays received calls. Keep the actual phone, Watch, and earbud arrangement together when testing.

How do I change a pitch or play call?

Press and hold the button you want to edit in the app, enter the wording you want spoken, and save. Build short, unmistakable calls your players recognize. See the recordings in the setup guide.

Why is no sound reaching the earbud?

Check that the earbud is charged and connected to the device running PitchCall Pro. Confirm the selected audio output and raise its volume. Try another audio source on the same device, then return to the app. If needed, disconnect and pair the earbud again before retesting.

What if the audio cuts out across the field?

Bluetooth range varies with hardware, obstacles, interference, and where you wear the devices. Reproduce game-day positions and movement at practice. Move closer, reduce obstructions, and keep a backup signal system. We do not promise a universal field range.

Can I use it in my league?

Electronic communication rules differ by governing body, age group, tournament, and season. Ask your league or tournament director about your specific setup before using it in a game.

Is PitchCall Pro available on Android?

The current public app is on Apple’s App Store. An Android version is planned. We will add a Google Play link here when it is publicly available.

Is the app free? What is changing?

The current App Store listing is free. Premium features for iOS and a planned Android app are in development. Features, pricing, and release timing will be announced when ready; there is no paid plan to purchase on this website today.

Are earbud straps available?

They are not currently for sale. We are gathering interest in a possible return. Joining the interest list is not an order or a reservation, and there is no payment.
